I am a Medical Transcription trainee. I have been on training for 3 months. But still I make mistakes while typing. Can anyone (who is a successful trainee now) tell how long will it take to make a perfect medical report? I m an online trainee. I do spend quality time with the system and I m very dedicated and interested too.
Typing is not my problem. I do type fairly good with accuracy. Some words dictated by doctors are quite indecipherable to me. I would leave blank spaces. But When I see the evaluated doc. I realised that the exact pronunciation and words.

I recommend using Mavis Beacon to improve your typing. Learning medical transcription can take some time as it is a developed skill. Stick w/ it as it's a great profession.
