A friend of mine who is a hospital administrator said "don't go into medicine to get rich. You'll be dissatisfied with the overall results!". He was saying that physicians in private practice/salaried doctors are under stern regulations/restrictions from the government/insurance companies. Many doctors have been turn into paper pushers and they are frustrated because it limits the physician to truly practice medicine! Next, he mention that the government/private insurance companies offer low reimbursements in which many in private practice/salaried docs can barely stay afloat. Plus, physicians have large medical debt that many will still be paying in their 50's with malpractice insurance, and yearly expensive licensing fees. Because of these reasons, medicine has become too tiring, too expensive, too regulated to continue on or go into. He also explain that the healthcare bill will make it impossible to do anything.
Is this true? Then if that's the case how expensive can it be to become a doctor?

You keep asking this question.
Is the point to keep people from wanting to become Doctors or something?
Just me for President 2012
I have many Doctor clients and many of them are planing on early retirements and most of the others have sold there practices ans are now working for large medical groups and hospitals. If they didn't do this they wold not be able to stay in business.
This has lead to our standing joke for doctors. "What is the difference between a large pizza and a doctor? A large pizza can still feed a family of four."
