Don't judge...here it goes. I had a surgical abortion at 5 weeks pregnant from Family Planning. I kept bleeding and had excruciating chest/back pain the following week and went to the ER multiple times. They found out that the surgery was unsuccessful and I was STILL pregnant; the pregnancy hormones caused acid reflux that burned my esophagus which caused the pain. A week later I went in for my 2nd surgical procedure (the same clinic/same doctor). After that, the bleeding worsened, I was in and out of the ER until they found that I still had a chunk of tissue stuck in me. They gave me a shot to try to push it out but it didn't work. I had to go in for my 3rd abortion in less than a month (same clinic, different location). My ER bills are almost $ 20,000 and I am still unsure if that much surgery hurt my chances for future pregnancies. Plus the emotional trauma, missing a lot of college, and work....has been awful. I know my case is extremely rare, do I have the right to sue?

In general yes or no depending. Go to a lawyer and speak to them directly. Much will depend on what is in your medical charts as much as the actual situation.

Not judging. But I don't think you have a case if you not only went back to someone who botched the abortion, but you went back a 3rd time. Sounds like many doctors messed up. Abortion isn't as simple as the abortion advocates claim it is. Many women are maimed and their reproductive future is harmed. (( that baby really wanted to make it in this world. ))

Why take money out of the NHS? It just makes someone elses life harder. First you destroy the life of a unborn child, now you're thinking about destroying someone you don't know by taking money unethically. Could you live with that on your consiouns?

At that kind of $ $ $ , you would at least interest a PI lawyer (personal injury). Just based on value of damage. Of course, if your insurance paid, your damages are less, and the value of your time and emotional trauma = $ 0.00.
On the other hand, you may have just had bad luck, and if no one deviated from the standard of care, you will get nowhere.
As for your future fertility, there are no real tests to prove or disprove it, except time.

Why did the ER not do a D&C when you were there?
Something about your story just does not feel right.

i'm not judging you but why in the world would you go back to the same place that botched it in the first place! i really don't think you have much of a case--i'm sure that in the paperwork you signed, you signed some sort of release. however--no medical procedure is 100% guaranteed to work

Nope. This is God's way of teaching you not to have abortions.

First off I do not believe you went multiple times to an ER and they did not find you were still pregnant.Or that when they did discover it they did not do a D&C. Second I do not believe you would have gone to the same doctor if you knew they had botched the first attempt. Third going to the ER again and all they did was give you a shot? Bull they would have done a D&C. Last and not least you cannot sue for maybe not being able to get pregnant again. That is a normal risk with abortions.
